Milled components, machined to drawing
HAGUE FASTENERS makes milled components in the UK: special heads, flats, slots, cross holes, clamps and drive forms such as hexagon, Torx and 12-point, on parts that cannot be bought off the shelf.

Milled components to your design
Milled components are machined parts whose shape needs milling as well as turning: flats, slots, keyways, cross holes, special head forms and drive features. We make milled components in our Willenhall facility to customer drawings, including parts with no thread at all.
Multi-axis mill-turn lathes with live tooling and sub-spindles let us turn and mill a part in one setting, which keeps features accurate to each other. Vertical machining centres and conventional mills and slotters handle larger and one-off work.

Examples
The kind of parts we mill

Clamps and brackets
Milled from solid bar to drawing, singly or in batches.

Adaptors and connectors
Turned and milled parts joining different thread forms.

Shoulder and drive screws
Special drive forms and shoulders milled to drawing.

Slotted round nuts
Round nuts with milled slots for spanner tightening.

Polymer components
Filter fingers and other parts machined in engineering polymers.

12-point drives
Bi-hex heads milled for compact, high strength joints.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can you make milled components with no thread?
Yes. We quote and supply non-threaded milled components as well as fasteners, made to your drawing.
What quantities do you make milled components in?
From a single prototype or replacement to batches of several hundred.
Can you mill special drive forms?
Yes. We mill hexagon, Torx, 12-point, square and special drive forms on heads and shanks.
Can you reverse engineer an obsolete part?
Yes. Send a photograph beside a rule for a quick estimate, then the sample, and we will make a drawing and replicate it, with an upgraded material if needed.
Do you supply certificates?
Yes. We supply certificates of conformity and EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 material certificates, with independent UKAS-accredited test reports where required. See quality.
